Two-Hour Instructor-Led Workshops

Corporate wood-burning workshops include the selected wooden project, wood-burning tools, practice materials, standard stencils, safety instruction, technique demonstrations, protective table coverings, setup, cleanup, and two hours of guided workshop time.

No previous wood-burning or artistic experience is necessary.

A $975 minimum event investment applies to all corporate wood-burning workshops.

The minimum event investment is the lowest total required to reserve an event. Smaller groups may still book by paying the minimum.

Prices are based on standard wooden items and designs. Exact sizes, shapes, styles, and wood types depend on supplier availability.

Specialty items, larger sizes, premium woods, complicated designs, and items requiring additional materials may cost more.

Mix-and-Match Project Options

Everyone does not necessarily have to select the same wooden project.

Depending on attendance, inventory, and availability, your company may choose a small menu of approved items for participants to select from.

When projects have different prices, your official quote will be based on the number of each item selected. Final project selections and quantities must be provided by the deadline stated in your agreement.

Mix-and-match project options are subject to availability and may require additional preparation or sorting fees for large groups.

Custom Pre-Engraving

Wooden projects can be engraved before the workshop with company branding, participant information, or design outlines.

A $100 minimum engraving order applies.

The custom-design fee is charged only when MixMatched Creations must create, redraw, significantly edit, or prepare new artwork. A clean, usable logo or engraving file may not require the complete custom-design fee.

The client must provide all logos, names, dates, wording, and design information by the deadline listed in the event agreement. The client is responsible for reviewing and approving spelling, names, dates, logo placement, and artwork before engraving begins.

Changes cannot be made after the projects have been engraved.

What Your Workshop Includes

Every standard corporate wood-burning workshop includes:

• Pre-event planning

• One selected standard wooden project per participant

• Wood-burning tools and tool stands

• Practice materials

• Standard stencils

• Safety demonstration

• Wood-burning technique instruction

• Two hours of guided workshop time

• Protective table coverings

• Event setup and cleanup

• One instructor for up to 25 participants

• One finished project for each participant

Custom engraving, premium items, additional instructors, additional event time, a second rotation activity, and travel outside the included area are priced separately.

Your company provides the venue, tables, chairs, adequate electrical service, and access to the event space before and after the workshop.

Additional Workshop Fees

Additional Event Time

$150 per additional 30 minutes

Additional time may be required for larger groups, detailed designs, premium projects, or rotating activities.

Additional Instructors

$225 per additional instructor

One instructor is included for up to 25 participants. Additional instructors may be required based on attendance, venue layout, project selection, electrical setup, or participant needs.

Large-Group Rotation

Custom pricing

If the venue cannot safely support enough wood-burning tools for everyone at once, participants may be divided into groups.

One group can wood burn while another completes a different creative activity. The groups then switch.

Pricing for a rotating event depends on:

• Number of participants

• Selected wood-burning project

• Second creative project

• Number of instructors

• Number of tools

• Available electrical circuits

• Total event length

Rush Preparation

Events booked fewer than 21 days in advance may require an additional rush-preparation fee based on attendance, project availability, customization, and engraving requirements.

Travel Fees

Travel charges are based on the venue’s one-way distance from Columbia, New Jersey.

Parking, tolls, venue charges, loading fees, security fees, overnight accommodations, and other location-related expenses are additional when required.

Standard travel pricing includes one vehicle. Events requiring additional instructors, vehicles, tools, or equipment transportation may require an additional travel charge.

All travel-related charges will be listed in the official event quote.

Mandatory Participant Waiver

Every participant who plans to use a wood-burning tool must sign the required safety and liability waiver.

Completed waivers must be submitted to MixMatched Creations at least 48 hours before the event. The company’s event contact is responsible for distributing the waiver and ensuring that participants complete it by the deadline.

Participants whose completed waivers have not been received by the deadline will not be permitted to use a wood-burning tool.

Refunds and credits will not be provided for participants who cannot participate because they failed to submit the required waiver.

Signing the waiver does not replace the mandatory safety demonstration. Every participant must attend the demonstration before receiving a heated tool.
