Children’s Painting & Craft Birthday Parties 🎨✨

Turn your child’s birthday into a colorful, creative celebration! I offer fun, age-appropriate painting and craft parties designed to keep kids engaged, proud of their artwork, and excited to show off what they made.

Whether you’d like to host at home or are waiting for a dedicated party space, I’ve got you covered.

🏡 I Come to Your Home

Host a party right in your living room, kitchen, backyard, or garage!

I’ll bring everything needed for a full painting or craft experience, including:

  • Easels (if painting)

  • Pre-traced canvases or boards (if desired)

  • Brushes, paints, and palettes

  • Table covers & water cups

  • Aprons (or smocks, if available)

  • All craft materials for the selected project

All you need to provide is the space and the kids—I handle the rest.

I am currently working on securing a dedicated space to host children’s painting birthday parties at a facility.

Once this is in place, you’ll have two options:

  1. At-Home Birthday Party – I come to you.

  2. Hosted Painting Party at a Facility – You come to us, and everything is set up and ready when you arrive.

No generic designs here—each party can feature a completely custom, age-appropriate painting created specifically for:

  • Your child’s birthday theme

  • Your child’s interests and preferences

Unicorns, dinosaurs, sports, superheroes, favorite animals, magical forests, outer space, princesses, spooky-but-cute Halloween scenes—whatever your birthday kid loves, I can design a painting just for them and their guests.

Minimum number of kids may apply depending on the party details—this can be discussed at booking.

Parties are best suited for:

  • Ages 5–15 for painting-focused parties

  • Younger children may enjoy more craft-focused projects, which can be adjusted to their age and attention span.

I’ll always help you choose a project that fits the age group and keeps the kids happy, focused, and successful.

❄️ Snow, Weather & Sick Day Policy

At MixMatched Creations, the safety, health, and well-being of your children and families are always the top priority. Because winter weather and childhood illnesses can be unpredictable, the following policy applies to all classes, workshops, and birthday parties.

1. Weather-Related Cancellations

If snow, ice, severe storms, or unsafe travel conditions are expected, we may need to cancel or postpone a scheduled session or party.
You will always be notified 3–4 hours in advance whenever possible.

You will receive updates through:

  • Text message

  • Email

  • Social media updates (if applicable)

At-Home Birthday Parties

If I am traveling to your home:

  • Unsafe roads = automatic postponement

  • You may choose the next available date that works for your family

  • No fees or penalties for weather rescheduling

Facility-Based Classes or Events

If held at a venue or church:

  • We follow the local school district’s closure policy or the facility’s own decision

  • A make-up class will be added at the end of the session if needed

No Weather Penalties

All deposits and payments transfer to the new date.
No one loses their spot or money due to weather.

2. Sick Day Policy

To maintain a safe, healthy environment for all children, please follow the guidelines below.

If Your Child Is Sick

Children should not attend a class or party if they have:

  • Fever within the last 24 hours

  • Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours

  • Severe cough or respiratory symptoms

  • Contagious rashes

  • Any illness that could spread to others

This helps protect all students, especially those with medical sensitivities.

If Your Child Misses a Class

For regular 6-week sessions:

  • A make-up class may be offered during the last week if available

  • If a make-up is not possible, the class fee is not refunded, but your child will receive any materials used that week

If the Birthday Child Is Sick

If your child wakes up ill on the day of a party:

  • The party will be rescheduled at no penalty

  • All supplies and custom items will be held for the new date

  • Please notify me as soon as possible so a new slot can be arranged

If I (the Instructor) Am Sick

If I am sick and unable to safely lead a class or party:

  • I will notify you as early as possible

  • Your class or party will be rescheduled, or you may choose:

    • A full refund, OR

    • Credit toward a future event

I will never teach while sick. Your children deserve a healthy environment and full energy from me.

3. Final Decision Authority

For both weather and illness, I reserve the right to reschedule any class or event if it becomes unsafe or unhealthy for children, families, or myself.

Safety, comfort, and well-being always come first.
