MixMatched Creations brings creative corporate experiences directly to your workplace, event venue, retreat, conference, holiday party, or other private event location—and we make the process as simple as possible for the person planning it.

For instructor-led events, MixMatched Creations handles the activity planning and preparation, brings the creative materials and supplies, sets up the activity area, provides instruction and guidance throughout the experience, and cleans up our activity area when we're finished.

You provide the appropriate event space, tables and chairs, and any venue requirements discussed during planning. We take care of the creative experience.

Whether you want employees to compete, collaborate, create, relax, celebrate, or simply have fun together, we'll help you build an experience around your group.

And don't worry about artistic ability—no art experience is necessary.

Our Collaborative Company Keepsakes allow employees to each contribute a small personal element to one larger finished piece.

These experiences are self-guided and do not require an instructor, making them easy to incorporate into an existing party, dinner, conference, anniversary celebration, employee appreciation event, or other company gathering.

How Many People Can Participate?

MixMatched Creations can accommodate everything from smaller departments to large company-wide events.

For most of our corporate experiences, there is no predetermined maximum number of participants, provided your venue has adequate space and an appropriate setup for the selected activity.

Larger groups may require additional tables, stations, materials, project sections, or event support. We'll work with you during the planning process to determine the best setup for your group.

Have a large group? Don't automatically rule out an experience because of your guest count. Tell us about your event and we'll help you determine what's possible.

How Long Is an Event?

Our standard instructor-led corporate event is approximately 2 hours.

This provides time to introduce the activity, explain instructions, create, interact, and complete the experience without making your event feel rushed.

Need more time?

Additional event time is available for an additional fee.

Longer events may be appropriate for multiple activities, detailed projects, larger competitions, rotating groups, tournament-style events, meals or scheduled breaks, awards ceremonies, or groups that simply want more time.

Self-guided activities and Collaborative Company Keepsakes do not necessarily require a dedicated two-hour event and can often be incorporated into an event you're already planning.

Planning a Large Wood-Burning Event?

Large Group? We Can Keep Everyone Involved.

Wood burning works a little differently from many of our other creative experiences.

Because each participant needs access to an individual wood burner and the venue must have appropriate electrical capacity, there is a limit to the number of participants who can actively wood burn at one time.

But that doesn't mean wood burning is limited to small corporate events.

For larger groups, we can create a rotating experience, dividing participants into groups that rotate through wood burning in scheduled sessions.

Want to Keep Everyone Participating?

For an additional fee, a second creative activity can be added for the other group to participate in while they wait for their wood-burning session.

For example:

GROUP A — WOOD BURNING

GROUP B — SECOND CREATIVE EXPERIENCE

THEN ROTATE!

This allows us to accommodate larger groups while keeping employees involved throughout the event instead of having participants simply wait for an available burner.

The number of employees who can wood burn at one time will depend on the available equipment, venue setup, electrical capacity, group size, and event format.

You don't need to figure out the rotations yourself.

Tell us your approximate number of participants, available event time, and venue information, and we'll help you determine a setup that works.

No Artistic Experience Necessary

You may have employees who paint regularly—and employees who haven't touched a paintbrush since elementary school.

Both are welcome.

Our corporate experiences are designed for men and women with different levels of artistic ability.

Depending on the activity, the person who insists “I'm not artistic” may turn out to be the team's best communicator, problem-solver, leader, strategist—or the person who keeps everyone laughing.

The goal isn't artistic perfection. The goal is creating an experience together.

When possible, activities can also be adapted for different physical abilities and participation needs.
